The application areas could not be more varied. Whether in high-performance sports at Olympic training centres or on the road at training camps, the Vario Photometer plus can be used everywhere, especially for measuring CK and urea in football training. However, the Vario Photometer plus is also ideal for use in rural areas with a low population density and poorly developed infrastructure, as well as in disaster areas or ambulances.
The Vario Photometer plus becomes a mobile laboratory with its practical carry case, which holds the accessories required for measurement.

The Vario Photometer plus is suitable for the following applications:

High-performance sports require an approach based on objective criteria. This includes preventive sports, medical examinations, performance diagnostics, and training management. The clinical-chemical parameters relevant to sport are primarily CK, lactate, urea, and glucose.

The Vario Photometer plus can determine various clinical-chemical parameters in the practice or emergency laboratory. Depending on the parameter, different equipment is required. As the Vario Photometer plus can measure all the parameters listed on the left, the accessories required for the measurement (see table below) ultimately determine the extent to which the possibilities of the device can be utilised.
